Review

Tris Prior is trying to still save the ones she loves the most. She is struggling with her grief and loss, and questioning her loyalty and politics. War is looming, and in all wars there are side to be taken. Secrets comes out, choices will be made. Tris must truly embrace her Divergence, even though she does not know what or who she might lose.Review:We learn a lot more about some of the factions. We find ourselves immersed in the Amity, Candor and Erudite factions. It was interesting to see how they make their decisions, and the beliefs that influence them in everything they do. We also learned about the factionless, and who they are and what they are really up to. Knowing this makes it hard to know who your real enemies really are, and who you can trust. While trying to uncover the secrets that the Abnegation were hiding, so many secrets were revealed, and twists that you really don't see coming make you just not want to put the book down.Tris is really having a hard time with everything that has happened. She was so selfless in Divergent, we don't see this from her this time. She is depressed, hopeless sometimes. She is struggling with her guilt for killing Will and the loss of family. She manages to find some inner strength. And Tris does what she needs to do, no matter the consequences. Tris found herself again along the way. Her relationship with Four was tested throughout the book. Sometimes he was so frustrated with her and other times he was so caring and tender with her. I think I like him even more now than I did before. Any man that that has that much patience, love and trust is truly an amazing man. And the trust between them was definitely test more than anything, but they pulled through even though the world around them was all screwed up. The showed a love for each other that is worth fighting for, not matter what is going on around you.Overall, I really did enjoy this from start to finish. It was gripping and completely enthralling. So many twists and turns, you don't know what to expect next, with betrayals, conflict, romance. It does however leaves us with the most utterly jaw dropping cliffhanger that I have have read in a long time. I can't wait to see what unfolds next. If you haven't read Divergent, you have to pick it up. This is a awesome series, one that you simply have to read. It certainly won't disappoint.
