On Fire: A Teen Wolf Novel - Nancy Holder
This is about the journey of a young guy that is a werewolf. Scott is what most would call a protagonist. He is trying desperately to cope with being a werewolf. He seems to be adjusting fairly well. He is strong and he doesn’t let his urges take over and it helps that he is very much in love with Allison. But Allison’s family are dangerous where he is concerned. They are hunters, which Allison is completely oblivious to. She seems to be in love with Scott as much as he is with her. She is a sweet caring young girl, that is just trying to help her friend Lydia find her boyfriend Jackson. Scott agrees to help too, but they definitely get more than they bargained for during the search for him. Scott was amazing though, doing his best to protect her, but they do get lost. Derek and Stiles are looking for them. Derek has flashbacks to his relationship with Laura. Which gives a great insight to why he is the way he with humans. Jackson is in for a surprise when he goes looking for answers to who his parents are. But though it all he remains determined to survive and make home safely to his family and Lydia. He seems to a genuinely nice guy.I really enjoyed reading this one. I haven’t seen the episodes on T.V., but this certainly peaked my interest. It was full of excitement, and action. I loved all the characters too. I would say to give this a try. I always enjoy reading Nancy Holders books and she certainly didn’t disappoint.
