Review

In this installment of the Mythos Academy, Gwen is dealing with attacks from the reapers, and she is trying to complete a task that was given to her by Nike. She is looking for the Helheim Dagger, which is a very powerful artifact and the reapers want it badly. It holds the key to unlocking Loki. The Reapers have become desperate to get it too.Gwen has grown a lot, she is isn’t the shy, naive or even scared young girl as she used to be. She has become a very brave and smart young girl, don’t get me wrong she still has her moments. After learning who killed her mother, she is out for revenge for her Mother’s death. There is so much going on, with her friend Daphne and Logan too. Her friend is going through some major changes and she tries to help as best she can. Gwen cares for Daphne and is a great friend to Daphne when she needs it the most. Gwen’s relationship with Logan has progressed, but she still feels that he is hiding things from her. But we get to see why he is so secretive and it just breaks your heart, but it gives even more depth to his character. He is still the bad ass as he is always is, but this time around you can tell he really does have strong feelings for Gwen. So right now we just have to wait and see if they will continue their relationship or not and they do have a lot to work through. I am rooting for them for sure. Both Gwen and Logan are amazing, strong and I really do enjoy both of them.Dark Frost is darker than the first few as we dive further into the story. The Chaos War at the doorstep of Mythos Academy, and the suspense is massively more this time around, and the battle at the beginning was brutal, but amazing. So many play a part in stopping the war. There is never really a dull moment because there is so much going on. We learn so many more things about the The Reapers of Choas and Loki and even Nike. I will say that Fenrir role in this part of the story was awesome. I’m glad that we got see more about them. I am a big fan of mythology, so I have really enjoyed this entire series so far. It’s fast paced, completely enthralling and leaves you wanting more. I can’t wait to see what happens in Crimson Frost. I would definitely recommend reading this.
