I am a huge fan of this series and I was so excited to for the sequel after finishing ReVamped. Our story picks up not too long after Dawn has discovered the truth of how she came to be and a terrible loss. Dawn is just a strong and brave as she ever was. I really enjoyed seeing this side of her. The love and sacrifices she makes are extraordinary and how could you not respect that. Dawn is trying so hard to keep herself from falling apart from the grief is carrying. When she discovers that the Borns are being kidnapped she set right out to find what is going on. She also joins forces with a new character that we were introduced to. Razor... Who happens to be quite full of himself too. He was a wonderful addition. Brooke, Sophie, Hunter and Seth have grown so much too. Learning to put aside issues you have with someone isn't always easy. Of course Sebastian is a very large part, but with him comes his friend Lena. Do you like her? Don't like her? I really didn't make up my mind till almost the end. The romance between Dawn and Sebastian was a lot more steamy this time around. I am certainly all for that. They are a couple that I have rooted for from the start. Dawn just has to let herself give it a try. The world building is sensational, and the pacing was very well done. Our new characters brings some twists that play a big role in the events that take place, and learning some of the "misfits" back stories made it easier for me to understand why they were the way they were. I felt so many emotions while reading this and that alone just show how amazing this really is. There are so many things going on and the build to the climax was beyond what I ever expected, and I had high expectation going into this. So many revelations were made, and people you think you can trust were anything but. I think I could go on and on, but I don't want to give to much away. ReAwakened is a breathtaking sequel to ReVamped. This is a fantastic series, and definitely a must read.
