3.5 stars Review to come soon...What do you do when everything you think you know, it the furthest thing from what really is. Reckoning takes us through a journey to find the truth.Kat Matheson is a young, slightly naive, beautiful girl, who thinks she is not beautiful and believes that she is invisible. But Kat is certainly not just a typical young girl, she can hear and see the dead and has kept it a secret since she was a little girl. Kat has a very likable personality even when her world is turned inside out. When the boy she has had a crush on pays her attention she is completely thrilled. Enter the mysterious neighbor, Lovell.. There is a lot more to Lovell than Kat knows. There is no love triangle and the romance that does take place was sweet and at time heartbreaking. The world building was a little slow, bit was just enough for you to keep wanting to read and find out just what was really going on. I found Kat's psychic ability to be fascinating and her connections with Lovell was something I would like to know more about. With a few twist and turns, first loves, and betrayal, Reckoning makes for an enjoyable read. I would definitely say give this one a try.
