OMG!!!!!!!!!! Review to come soon....This is one of those books that I am afraid once I get started I won't want to stop talking about it. After finishing Obsidian, I was blown away and wanted more. And boy I got it.Onyx picks up right where we left off in Obsidian, Katy and Daemon are connected and she is still trying to keep him at arms length, which is incredibly hard to do. He pops up everywhere. I love that Kay is still her stubborn, feisty, spunk self and dishes it out to Dameon non stop. I think the character development for Katy was great to watch unfold. For the first part of the book she was kinds whiney and sort of immature acting to me, but wow did she come into her own. She turns out to be quite a kickass heroine. Daemon, Daemon, Daemon, what can I possibly say but WOW!. I really didn't think I could possibly like him any more than I did in Obsidian. I was certainly wrong about that. He is still one my favorite male characters. His protectiveness of Katy turns into jealousy when a new guy shows up and takes up Katy time. There are so many layers to Daemon, I don't know if we will ever have him completely figured out. I enjoy everything about his character. The plot was perfectly paced, with excitement, boy drama and the connection between Kay and Daemon was amazing. I don't want to give away to much for those who have not read this. As the story progresses you have twist and turns that are jaw dropping. From the banter and dripping sexual tension between Kay and Daemon, be prepared for a roller coaster of emotions from this one. I don't think there was ever a dull moment with such a awesome group of characters. This is a absolutely amazing sequel to Obsidian. I went into this one really high hopes, and I was no where near disappointed. It is filled with laughs, heart stopping twists and an ending that leaves you surprised and aching for Opal. This is an addictive must read book for sure.
